Aggregate and the Environment
Published by the American Geological Institute

The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association is distributing a new book by the American Geological Institute. Aggregate and the Environment is a 64-page book that discusses the important role that aggregates operations play in preserving and protecting the environment. In each of its four chapters - It Helps to Know; Producing and Transporting Aggregate; Protecting the Environment; and Providing for the Future - the book is intended to help illustrate the way decisions made at an aggregates operation impact the earth and society.

The book was written by William H. Langer, Lawrence J. Drew and Janet S. Sachs.
